The first steps to understanding and knowing yourself, those around you, friends and family and your whole environment and the universe. Astrology will allow you to understand and predict the cycles of time, and more importantly, the cycles of your life. It will allow you to understand past and current themes and predict current trends. Astrology is the boat that will navigate you through the sea of life. Astrology sees humans as being not only influenced by hereditary factors and the environment, but also by the state of our solar system at the moment of birth. The planets are regarded as basic life-forces, the tools we live by as well as the basis of our very substance. These planetary forces take on different forms, depending on their zodiacal position and on the way they relate to one another. From the beginning of time our ancient ancestors have always looked to the cosmos as a reflection of man’s inner self, soul and path/Karma, hence the term as above, so below. So through the art and science of astrology and cosmology one can seek guidance of the journey of one’s soul and spirit.
During the 12 weeks of this course you shall learn:
The Language of Astrology Introduction to the Horoscope: Historical and Philosophical Background
The Planets: Understanding the planets: The personal, social and collective planets, retrograde planets and their meaning
The Signs: The twelve signs of the zodiac and their meanings Polarity, Triplicities and Modes interpreting the meaning of the planets in the signs
- VENUE: Unit A, Emperor house, Dragonfly place, Endwell Rd, Brockley, SE4 2FL
- DATES: Starts with a Free introduction day on the Thursday 18th September and then starts Thursday 25th September 2014 and continues weekly
- TIME: Class starts 7:15pm until 9:15pm weekly
